Lando Norris will be looking to take a step towards winning his first-ever Formula One world title by clinching the
Brazilian Grand Prix trophy.

The McLaren driver secured a podium spot at the Mexico City Grand Prix on 26 October, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Norris started on the first grid and he never looked back as he went on to win the race - achieving his 10th race win, 14th pole position and 42nd podium in Formula One, and most importantly, collecting 25 points.
Formula One title ambitions
The 2013 CIK-FIA European Championship and the CIK-FIA International Super Cup winner is now placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings, having accumulated 357 points.
Norris is a point ahead of leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren and 36 points ahead of third-placed Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing with four races left.
Why Norris could win the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix
The 25-year-old is the most in-form driver in Formula One right now, having won the most races (five) of the last 13 Grand Prix, including an impressive 10 podium finishes.
Norris, who has won six races in total this season, finished second in the runner-up in the 2024 World Drivers' Championship and he is now in a strong position to win the main prize this year.
What did he say?
“What a race! It’s awesome to win here! Good start, good first lap, and I could go from there," Norris said after winning the 2025 Mexico City Grand Prix.
"Eyes forward, focused on what I was doing. The launch was really the key thing. Thanks to the team for giving me a great race car – and a big thanks to all the fans.
"Lifting the trophy here in the stadium was really special. The focus doesn’t change now, I’ll just keep pushing to deliver results like this and keep doing my best every weekend.”
